Luke Chadwick | OddBalls Ambassador
Raising awareness in:
County Durham and the North
What do you like about being an OddBalls Ambassador?
Raising awareness of testicular cancer amongst young people is what’s most important to me. Interacting with lads of all ages and hearing their questions really highlights how important it is to spread the ‘check-your-balls’ message.
Any highlights or funny moments so far?
Climbing the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the OddBalls Foundation was unbelievable. The funniest moments probably come from posing in boxers in front of Durham Cathedral – or the general craic year 11s dish out when you talk about balls to them.
What's your advice on the best time to ‘check yourself’?
First of the month to keep it simple. After your morning shower.
When you’re not being an Ambassador, you can be found…?
At the pub, or in the kitchen.
Favourite sport to watch or play?
I mostly play rugby, but enjoy watching the Mighty Whites push for promotion (again) #MOT
#1 item on your bucket list?
Go on Safari.
What’s the best TV show to binge-watch?
Only Fools and Horses.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Yorkshire puddings.
What's the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Check your balls regularly!
